Die Twice release new hypnotic single “Wishbone”

Date:

Die Twice are back with their newest single “Wishbone.”

“Wishbone” is a song that flickers, fractures, and refuses to settle. The track follows the stark and brooding single “Jakobo,” with both songs featuring on the band’s debut independent EP release, Accept Me Like A Lie, out May 27 via FAE.

The track simmers with a paranoid, slow-burning intensity. “Wishbone” touts a stop-start groove that underpins delicate pizzicato strings before the song splinters into a towering crescendo. Frontman Olly Bayton’s voice leads the charge as he shifts from a restrained, gentle tenor into a gravel-edged scream as Billy Twamley’s guitar shimmers through a dense swell of strings.

Die Twice’s upcoming EP, Accept Me Like A Lie, was written by the band at a transitional point in their lives and in the midst of their live performances. The project will have five tracks that create a hypnotic and cathartic cinematic soundscape that audiences will find luxuriant.
