Creed and Three Days Grace to headline Rockin’ Thunder 2026

Date:

Canada’s biggest festival dedicated to rock ‘n’ roll is returning to Exhibition Lands Racetrack July 11-12, 2026. After a massive debut this year, Rockin’ Thunder is wasting no time raising the bar with its first announcement for 2026. Multi-platinum rock giants Creed and chart-topping heavy hitters Three Days Grace will be headlining the two-day festival.

The first year of Rockin’ Thunder was already hailed as one of the most standout rock experiences of the summer, and it’s set to deliver an even more impressive experience in 2026.

The CEO of Rockin’ Thunder, Troy Vollhoffer, states, “After an incredible inaugural year, we knew we had to keep the momentum going. Bringing Creed and Three Days Grace to Edmonton felt like the perfect way to keep building the festival into something truly unforgettable for Canada’s rock community.”

Leading this year’s lineup is one of the most successful bands in rock history from Ontario, Canada, Three Days Grace, who is set to take the stage Saturday night. Their multi-platinum singles, including “Animal I Have Become” and “I Hate Everything About You,” have solidified Three Days Grace as one of the most influential rock bands of the last two decades.

Closing out the festival Sunday night is diamond-certified rock band Creed. With over one billion streams on Spotify across numerous hits, including “Higher,” “One Last Breath,” and “With Arms Wide Open,” Creed’s music continues to resonate with generations. They have continued to be one of the most successful rock bands after their breakthrough in the late ’90s, with both Human Clay and Weathered debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Their 2009 reunion album, Full Circle, debuted at No. 1 on the Top Rock, Hard Rock, and Alternative charts and No. 2 on the Billboard 200. After an eleven-year hiatus, Creed reunited in July 2023, selling out two festivals in April of 2024 immediately.

More artists are to be announced in the new year; fans can be sure that this is only the start of a massive lineup.

All tickets are eligible for purchase with the new payment plan, making it possible for fans to secure tickets for only $20 with equal monthly payments to follow. Tickets are available for purchase now here.
