CASANDRA’s newest song “SOLUTION” is making headway for her upcoming album, ISLA TRANQUILITA, set to be released on May 15.
Born in the Miami heat but based in the heart of Los Angeles, CASANDRA has always had a deep understanding of herself and how to develop beautiful music out of her experiences. Writing songs in both English and Spanish, she gives listeners an in-depth connection to her inner world.
“SOLUTION” has a tangy beat that blends pop and the feeling of summer into a smooth sound that CASANDRA sings beautifully over. Connecting with her Cuban roots, the song pays homage to her heritage, building up even more excitement for her upcoming album. CASANDRA shared her thoughts on her new song: “My birth was an accident, and the tension that came from that was something I always felt growing up,” she shares.
“That theme has followed me throughout my life, extending itself and spawning sometimes cruelly in my adult life.
