Dublin rock band Big Sleep are back with their newest single, “Bruiser.” The single release is also accompanied by the release of their debut album, Holy Show, which is out now via Lab Records.
“Bruiser” is a true atmospheric shoegaze record that is slightly haunting. The deep vocals and swelling melodic instrumentation make for a listening experience that is urgent and restless, but somehow still comforting. The track is said to be the neon-lit heartbeat for Holy Show.
Holy Show is the debut album for the Dublin four-piece, and captures emotional chaos and transience. Its title is derived from the Irish term that refers to a messy situation, the kind that you can’t quite look away from. There are 10 tracks total, and each track takes an approach that looks inward into various emotional concepts.
To celebrate the release of the album, the band will be going on tour starting later this month. Tickets are available here.
