baby tsar look back on “Have You Ever Heard the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise”

Date:

Taking inspiration from the early 2000’s Fueled by Ramen bands, baby tsar is able to create a pop-punk and midwest emo fusion on “Have You Ever Heard the Tragedy of Darth Plageuis the Sise.”

The song tells a story of someone looking back on their past with regrets about how much time they gave to people that didn’t care. The narrator of the song focuses on how they ended up hating themselves due to how others treated them.

Both the lyrics and the sound harken back to an earlier era of emo, centered on heavy drum beats and emotional vocals. With only three released singles on Spotify, baby tsar has already garnered over ten thousand streams. The future of the band is looking a whole lot brighter than whatever tragedy befell Darth Plagueis.
