New Hampshire alternative punk rock project FFO: Chillin may have started as a bedroom project, but they’re ready to get out into the real world.
What started in 2023 as a solo DIY project has rapidly evolved into the real deal, finding momentum with two early EPs before catching the eye of staple New England label DAZE. Marking their signing with the label, the band just released their new single “All I Know” — a loud, hook-heavy blast of fuzzy alternative punk built on punchy guitar riffs and shout-along vocals.
Directed by Evan Warren, the accompanying music video takes a satirical jab at the music industry, poking fun at the fake personas artists adopt in pursuit of a paycheck.
“The older you get the less shit will surprise you,” vocalist and bassist Zaq Hollen says of the track’s cynical outlook. “When something you didn’t see coming happens, you say to yourself ‘should’ve seen it coming.’ Until you’ve done that loop 500 times over, and it loops back on itself.”
The new single lands right as FFO: Chillin hit the road for a massive late-summer run with touring veterans and fan favorites Joyce Manor and Glitterer, followed by a stacked September headlining stint alongside labelmates Dream Fatigue.
