Recent News: Her new EP for your validation comes out January 17.

In a world where artists like Gracie Abrams and Chappell Roan are dominating the pop scene, London-based indie pop songstress Alessi Rose has the potential to be pop music’s next favorite star. Through her highly intentional songwriting and charming relatability, Rose — similar to any great pop icon — has established for herself her own unique musical universe.

On January 17, Rose will release her sophomore EP for your validation, which directly follows her 2024 debut EP rumination as a ritual. A well-rounded artist, Rose’s upcoming album is both sarcastic and honest, cheeky yet vulnerable. For your validation, as seen from singles such as “oh my” and “imsochillandcool,” has already proven to be a cathartic and definitive body of work from the Derby-born pop star.

The 21-year-old singer-songwriter made her way into the music scene after boldly making herself known on social media. After finally getting discovered by her label, Rose released rumination as a ritual and embarked on a UK tour. Towards the end of last year, Rose announced her next project, for your validation, and later her 2025 For Your Validation tour. Rose’s tour — now almost completely sold out — will take her across the UK and Europe.

Similar to the likes of Olivia Rodrigo or Billie Eilish, Rose brings forward a sense of irony that makes her emotional earworms that much more enticing. Unafraid to address the battles we all face with perfection, lack of control, and vulnerability, Rose provides a unique kind of comfort for listeners around the world. Due to her pop star-like charm and highly impactful songwriting, there’s no doubt the music world will be hearing a lot more from Alessi Rose in the near future.
