Mayday Parade announces “Three Cheers for Twenty Years” tour and new album trilogy

Date:

Mayday Parade is gearing up for an extensive North American tour in celebration of their 20-year milestone. The journey begins on April 22 in St. Petersburg, Florida, and concludes on June 7 in Tallahassee, Florida, promising nearly two months of unforgettable performances. The tour, fittingly named “Three Cheers for Twenty Years”, will highlight the band’s rich history, featuring a diverse setlist that includes iconic hits, deep cuts, and brand-new material.

“This tour is the culmination of the band’s career for the past 20 years, and as such, we really wanted to go all out and provide our fans with a memorable and very special experience. We will be celebrating our deep music catalog starting at this band’s inception and continuing with our new releases this year. We are all very proud of what we’ve done, and when I say we, I mean the five of us, our crew – touring, production, and administrative – and, most importantly, you, the fans. Everyone always says that without you, we couldn’t do this, and I know that sounds like a cliche at this point, but that sentiment is repeated because of its literal and figurative truth,” says Alex Garcia. “While we may ‘make’ the music you enjoy, your energy and support fuel this dream. We look forward to seeing you at these shows and celebrating the past 20 years with us.”

This announcement comes alongside exciting news of the band’s forthcoming three-part album project. The first chapter, Sweet, will debut on April 18, 2025. Produced by longtime collaborators Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (All Time Low, Jimmy Eat World), this trilogy will serve as the band’s eighth studio album and their first full-length release since 2021’s What It Means To Fall Apart. This new music showcases the band’s growth and evolution since their formation in 2005.

The tour will feature support from Microwave, Grayscale, and Like Roses, adding even more excitement to the celebration. Pre-sale tickets and VIP Experiences will be available starting January 15th, at 10 a.m. local time. Use the password CHEERS at maydayparade.com to secure your tickets before they go on sale to the general public this Friday.
