Alex Warren releases fan favorite, “Burning Down,” the newest single off of his upcoming debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1). The album will be out on September 27th and is available for pre-save.
Warren’s newest single is an an anthem for those who were able to break free from a toxic relationship. It is a reminder to never let someone tale advantage of the kindness you have shown them. “Said I’m the one who’s wanted / For all the fire you started / You knew the house was burning down / I had to get out”
“For much of my life, I struggled with prioritizing my own needs and well being over others, and eventually, this led to those around me taking advantage of my kindness. It took me a long time to recognize the dynamics at play, and I believe many others who have endured toxic relationships can relate to this experience.”
