Mexican-American artist adan diaz released “shake, shake” on Sept. 13 ahead of his upcoming EP that will be out in October. In his latest single, he blends electro-pop with indie-rock to encourage listeners to let go.
The 20-year-old singer gives fans a space to do so when he sings “I got to say it / shake, shake” before beginning a chorus that listeners will bop to. The guitarist grapples with the uncertainty of new love in his latest single. He references how people can feel discouraged from letting go when he sings “Would it be a crime if I say it, I gotta say it….shake, shake!” in his chorus.
Adan explains,
“letting go should never be a crime! plug ya earbuds in feel the bass and forget about the world for a little.”
Indeed, listeners will be able to get lost in the bass of his music. Throughout the song, adan diaz hypes up listeners with a catchy guitar tune in between declaring “shake, shake” in his chorus. The addicting melody makes his song listeners’ next indie rock anthem.
The pandemic bedroom producer turned rising indie star will be releasing his third EP next month. He will also be going on his first headlining tour this fall.
