Latin pop artist amori has unveiled her latest Spanish single “Digas lo que digas,” which explores themes of delusions and denial, putting a new spin on Spanish-pop music. Originally from Juncos, Puerto Rico, the singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist is the eldest of nine siblings and has been living in Barcelona for the past three years. Although she began her musical journey in 2020, her latest single, “No se,” came out on Oct. 27, 2023.

“Digas lo que digas,” which translates to “Say what you will” or “No matter what you say” is a dreamy, ethereal track that is almost unexpected in another language, with her music a staple for the vulnerable yet sweetly nostalgic musical atmosphere that allows her to blend musical genres. Even if you don’t speak the language, the track remains emotionally resonant. amori’s “Digas lo que digas” shows that no matter the language, music is universal and that alone is exciting.

Her upcoming EP, Presentimiento, is set for release on May 1.
