Animals In Denial Release Exciting New Album “Crash Course Volume 2: Tickets To Dreamland”!

Date:

With a reputation for delivering a truly unique and immersive music listening experience, Animals In Denial announce the release of their brand new album today, “Crash Course Vol. 2: Tickets to Dreamland.”

This is the latest instalment in the “Revisited” series.

The album opens with a sense of anticipation – hypnotic melodies and lush production with each track creating layers of sound.

One of the album’s standout features is the very creative use of mixing techniques inspired by legendary producers such as Alan Moulder, Flood, and Butch Vig.

Tracks like “Inside of Me” and “No Enemy” display the perfect balance of intensity and subtlety, with dynamic shifts in volume and texture that keeps listeners wanting more.

“Chariot Ride” carries a much more mellow chord progression, which builds with elements of alternative rock and electronica.

What really sets “Tickets to Dreamland” apart however is the integration of AI technology into the production process. Led by the multi-talented Christian Imes, Animals In Denial embraces new technology and tools which has resulted in a collection of songs that are polished and refined, yet still brimming with a raw emotion and authenticity:

The name of this volume, “Tickets to Dreamland” comes from an Area 51 reference, and it  honestly just spoke to me and exuded the vibe of new tech new ideas new perspectives  infusing new life and bringing the sound that was in my head into the world, how it sounded  to me in my head. Basically, this is what I meant to release the first time. To me the  recording studio was always my version of Dreamland, where the impossible was possible.  Being able to put up every layer and nuance to the sound was a dream that only in the studio could be realized.

The result is the culmination of several months of planning, tweaks in the production, the use of AI, as well as several revisions to previous releases. “Tickets to Dreamland”  shows a much more professional, polished approach.

I can’t stress enough how much of an effect the Ai and additional computer power did the  job and is really the star of this particular show! I knew the stuff could’ve been more  polished and I really thought initially the AI thing was going to be a gimmick, so I first only  applied it to copies of mixes. This is after I had gone through and mixed and used a bunch  of plugins and then I set up the copy of the mix without any of my plugin choices and let the  AI start from a base level. The end result and the experience has altered my process  permanently and I can’t ever imagine how we got along without this thing.

From the first note to the last, Imes has poured his heart and soul into every aspect of its creation to make sure each song carries the production sound and depth it deserves.

Thematically, the album explores concepts such as transformation and growth, both musically and personally. And it’s evident that Imes has also taken things up a notch with this latest release, each song reflecting themes of self-discovery and the pursuit of one’s dreams.

Since 2006, Christian Imes has left an indelible mark on the music scene having released multiple singles as well as four full-length albums across major streaming platforms.

Drawing inspiration from the golden age of rock and roll, particularly bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, and Depeche Mode, Imes creates music that is truly unique, with a fusion of nostalgia and futuristic elements.

As a devoted family man with Asperger’s, Imes finds inspiration in his roles as a husband and father, often bonding with his two boys through impromptu jam sessions. Recording in his personal home studio, and with the assistance of his wife Jeanine, Imes creates music with a clear artistic vision.
