Laguna Beach indie rock duo The Foxtails has recently released their latest single “Love In The Face of Overwhelming Odds”, which serves as the title track of their upcoming album due to be released in mid-March.

With vertiginous speeds and high energy, The Foxtails bring forward a fresh vibe with the sole mission to brighten up the world. Drawing inspiration from a wide array of genres, from Elton John to My Chemical Romance, the duo’s sound is warm, joyful, even cathartic. The explosive drum intro on “Love In The Face of Overwhelming Odds” sets the scene perfectly, well balanced with wailing guitars and emotional vocals.

“Love In The Face of Overwhelming Odds” is described as the climax of the new record, telling a love story with the most intense emotions. On the meaning of the track, the band elaborates: “This song is about fighting uncertainty and anxiety to see the light at the end of the tunnel and push yourself to fight for the person that you have feelings for. This track is fast, energetic and one of our favorite tracks we have ever recorded”.
