Valley shows tribute to their fans and their journey as a band with “We Don’t Need Malibu”

Valley’s “We Don’t Need Malibu,” is a tribute to their fans and their journey as a band. Valley’s lead vocalist Rob Laska discusses the inspiration behind the song, mentioning that it was created during their time in California.

Drummer and vocalist Karah James adds, “I remember listening to the rough demo on the plane back to Toronto and thinking that it was a vibe we were missing on the album and would complete it perfectly.” Karah enthuses, “We decided to release it right before the album [came] out as a thank you for listening to our fans who have stuck with us not only though this era so far, but through other album eras and tours. We are super grateful for such a respectful and dedicated fan base that we can grow with.”

Additionally, the band is currently touring across Southeast Asia and Australia, as well as joining singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy as support for a series of arena shows in Canada.
