Practice Self-Love With Emme On New Single “Lovely”

Canadian artist and producer Emme has always strived for authenticity in her music. She is known for her clever lyric writing, haunting melodies, and synth-based production. Her latest single, “Lovely”, showcases her vulnerable lyrics and willingness to open up to her listeners as she shares her personal journey with self-image.

“Lovely” focuses on learning to love who you are. Through emotional lyrics and driving percussion, Emme highlights the back and forth between the struggle of wanting to be loved while still learning to love yourself. Lyrics such as “Cuz somewhere along I got twisted to think / My identity lives above the bathroom sink” show the harm caused by insecurities. “Lovely” shows the importance of finding love and happiness within yourself in the midst of a draining world.
