Mak Ro joins forces with Jordan Occasionally for summertime track “Just We”

Date:

Filipino-American duo, Mak Ro, joined forces with Jordan Occasionally for a summertime track titled, “Just We”. Accompanying the release, the duo consisting of cousins Eric Makapugay (Multi-Instrumentalist/Producer/Songwriter) and Kristoffer Ruaro (Singer/Producer/Songwriter) also premiered a self-directed music video that is just as refreshing visually as the music is sonically.

The fun, flirty, Pop/R&B track is heavily inspired by conversations revolving around what it’s like to be a queer romantic – features poetic yet cheeky lyricism complemented by a tropical-esque and breezy production that gets the body moving. The collaboration was sparked from the group all being based out of Memphis, TN and meeting through the city’s artist community scene. Having already released an impressive 13 singles and a 4-song EP, we certainly can’t wait to hear what’s next…

Check out the track for yourself below:

The “Just We” music video is due to premiere on the 28th July on YouTube:
