The third annual Wonderbus Music and Arts Festival takes place this weekend in Columbus, Ohio, August 26th-28th. For only being three years old, Wonderbus took on some heavy headliners, including, Duran Duran, Lorde, and The Luminneers. Second-tier artists include Local Natives, James Bay, and the high-energy festival favorite, COIN.

Here is our list of undercard acts you might want to consider going early for.

#1: Cannons – Friday, August 26
Recommended Tracks: “Fire for You”, “Bad Dream”, “Sex on Fire” (Kings of Leon Cover)

Cannons are a three-piece LA band made up of, Michelle Joy (vocals), Ryan Clapmam (guitar), and Paul Davis (drums, keys). From Cannon’s original pieces to their covers, they are the perfect band to add to your “My life is a Movie” playlist. Michelle’s voice and composure remain quite melodic and consistent throughout each song, while her band creates a steady, dream-pop beat.

#2: The Knocks – Saturday, August 27
Recommended Tracks: “Slow Song”, “Ride or Die”, “Fireworks”

The Knocks are hardly considered an undercard act, due to their vast music credibility. The Knocks have been creating upbeat dance mixes with artists in every genre, from pop to soul to indie-rock. The knocks are most recently featured on what was the most highly anticipated electronic dance album of the year, ODESZA’s  “The Last Goodbye.” Get ready to let loose and dance at this set.

#3: The Blue Stones – Saturday, August 28
Recommended Tracks:
“Be My Fire”, “Rolling With The Punches”, “Black Holes”

The Blue Stones is an intoxicating alt-rock band from Canada, but you wouldn’t be able to tell there are only two of them creating such a booming sound. The Blue Stones came on to the scene in 2018, and have been making not-so-subtle appearances at festivals since. Being the only heavy-hitting rock band of the weekend, their set is not one to miss.
