MILES releases short and sweet EP, Never Have I Ever

Date:

When you’re named after Miles Davis, it’s almost implied that music will intrinsically be part of your life. Such is the case for MILES, a LA-based singer/rapper who has been building a steady fan base since 2020 when he went viral with the TikTok video “WHAT IN TARNATION.” The sensation led to him being signed to Elektra Records, an imprint of Warner Music, and subsequently releasing several singles including “DESPERADOS” and “DIVA.” Now MILES Is back with his latest EP, Never Have I Ever.

The 5 tracks on the EP are short and sweet (the longest is just 1 second over 2 and a half minutes) and infectious pop energy is pervasive throughout. Guest appearances include LØLØ, the Canadian singer/songwriter who also received popularity via TikTok, and Travis Barker, everyone’s’ favorite pop punk collaborator as of the past 3 years. Both of these feature tracks – “The Internet” and “Never Have I Ever” – are standouts on the EP, catchy and fun but over too soon, almost guaranteeing that the listener will hit replay. The title track in particular is an ear worm, with a chorus that loops in your brain long after the music has stopped: “Never have I ever, never have I ever wasted even one shot (like never, like never ever)”

In addition of his new EP, MILES is making his live debut across the United States and Canada this fall opening for Peach Tree Rascals apart of the “Does A Fish Know It’ Wet Tour”. MILES will support the first leg of the tour starting on October 21 in San Diego and play more than 10 shows in cities such as Brooklyn, Boston, Nashville, and more before ending his on November 8th in Detroit. Tickets are now available and ready for purchase now!

If this EP is an indication of what’s to come from MILES, we can only imagine how much his star will shine in the future. Listen to the EP below or stream Never Have I Ever on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
