Tate McRae put on a brilliant and energetic performance to a sold-out crowd at O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on Wednesday night. The atmosphere in the venue was electric, as the crowd eagerly waited to see the incredibly talented 18-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter take to the stage. Tate provided phenomenal vocals all night, which was also complemented by some insane choreography. McRae opened the show with the catchy them “Stupid”, which sent the crowd crazy. The setlist for the night included many of her songs from Tate’s debut album, which came out in May, i used to think i could fly, this includes “what would you do?”, “chaotic” and “she’s all i wanna be”. Midway through the set McRae performed a special acoustic version of “boy x” with support act Alexander 23, who actually co-wrote the song with her. To close the night the talented musician performed her biggest performing song to date “you broke me first”, which was the perfect way to end such an incredible night. Prior to Tate McRae’s set the audience were treated to an acoustic set from American singer-songwriter Alexander 23, which included performances of “Crash”, his heartbreaking latest release “The Hardest Part” and “IDK You Yet”.
