On August 13th 2026, the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles was packed wall-to-wall as Tiger Lewis celebrated the release of his debut EP, Mr. Right Now. The sold-out room felt less like a typical release show and more like a small introduction to an artist who is clearly ready for a much bigger stage.
Tiger’s music lives somewhere between R&B, soul, blues and rock, and that mix translated especially well live. Tiger opted to not to use any tracks during the show and instead put together a 3 person ensemble to perform a set that the crowd surely enjoyed. With a guitar in hand, he brought the same sensitivity and grit that define the new EP, moving between moments of vulnerability and the kind of confidence that made it easy to see why the room was sold out in the first place.

There was something refreshingly unpolished about his performance. Rather than trying to make every moment feel overly produced and rehearsed, Tiger leaned into the live-band energy, letting the songs come to life organically and giving the crowd a chance to really sit with them. The result was intimate without ever feeling small. Fans sang along to the songs they came to hear, and even though bodies were packed in the room you could still visibly see people grooving to his songs.

Mr. Right Now is built around contradictions; desire and insecurity, bravado and sensitivity. Those same contrasts made the show feel personal. By the end of the night, it was hard not to feel like the audience had gotten a front-row look at the beginning of something.
For an artist still early in his story, Tiger Lewis already knows how to make a room feel like his. If this sold-out Moroccan Lounge show is any indication, “right now” might not be the only time we’ll be hearing his name. By the end of the night, it felt like everyone in the room was getting a first look at an artist who’s just getting started.
