The Halloween Horror Nights Terror Tram at Universal Studios Hollywood has a new set of hosts for 2026. Rock band Ice Nine Kills and horror character Art the Clown will be performing together to scare incoming guests as they ride into the Universal backlot and around the horror sets.
Art the Clown, from the Terrifier universe, has been a character at Horror Nights since 2025. This year, the demented killer arrives at the historic Universal backlot with his blood-soaked bag of presents before realizing it is too early for Christmas and hijacks the tram for his own holiday celebration.
Ice Nine Kills will join in with new music for the experience, putting a dark twist on classic Christmas songs. In addition, guests who think they escaped Art’s chaos on the backlot may find themselves encountering him throughout the theme park.
The new Universal partnership comes after their collaboration on “A Work of Art,” an official song for Terrifier 3. After the film grossed approximately $90.3 billion worldwide, the track has 60 million streams, debuting at No. 3 and spent 18 weeks on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.
“We are forever honoured that Terrifier writer/director Damien Leone and his team invited us to play in their sandbox of bloodshed,” said Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas.
“Art himself, David Howard Thornton, killed it in the ‘A Work of Art’ music video, and we’ve had Damien and several of his cast members at our Silver Scream Cons every year so far. Halloween Horror Nights is among our favourite destinations each season, and our fans love it, too. This is yet another natural step forward in our unnatural world of horror.”
The ride will open on September 3 and run on select nights until November 1. Tickets are available here.
