Jinjer embarked on their North American headlining tour, kicking off on September 7th, 2023, in Huntsville, Alabama, at the Mars Music Hall. This unforgettable night featured an epic display of progressive metal that will forever linger in the memories of those fortunate enough to attend. The Ukrainian metal sensation was joined by Monuments, and the packed venue witnessed a remarkable performance from both bands, as the air reverberated with melodic riffs and powerful screams. It was a masterful tour that should not be missed by any fans of the genre.

Monuments took the stage first, unleashing their monumental energy, living up to their band name’s reputation. They opened with “Cardinal Red,” led by Andy Cizek and the rest of the quartet, and transitioned seamlessly into the face-melting riffs of “I, the Creator.” The stark contrast between these opener tracks showcased the British shredders’ versatility, met with thunderous applause from the audience. The crowd’s headbanging reception never waned as the band powered through their eight-song setlist. Moshpits erupted as Adam Swan and John Browne on bass and guitar, respectively, commanded the stage with heavy riffs and basslines that enthralled the audience. Mike Malyan’s thunderous drumming kept the tempo for this electrifying performance. Monuments’ set was truly monumental, igniting a frenzy that endured throughout the evening.

Jinjer then stormed the stage with a fury that set the venue ablaze, blending melodic harmonies and powerful screams. Tatiana Shmayluk’s vocal prowess tore through the speakers during their impressive 14-song setlist, featuring fan favorites like “Teacher, Teacher!,” “Pisces,” and “Judgement (& Punishment).” It was an euphoric experience for both longtime fans and newcomers to the band. As the performance intensified, Eugene Kostyuk’s high-energy bass riffs and intricate progressions, combined with Vladislav Ulasevish’s drumming wizardry, created a headbanging symphony of powerful rhythms that conquered the Mars Music Hall. The amalgamation of sound was so captivating that even non-metal fans couldn’t help but groove along. Jinjer’s performance was a tour de force, delivering power, entertainment, and epic moments in abundance. Their stage presence and light show were phenomenal, making them one of the must-see live acts of the year.

Jinjer’s inaugural stop on their North American tour showcased flawless execution, and anyone with the means should not miss this show! The combination of both bands provided a metal spectacle of the highest caliber, with the night brimming with unbridled energy. Jinjer and Monuments both demonstrated mastery of their craft, offering a spectacle that left the audience in awe. Overall 11/10 show!

Jinjer’s tour continues through September 25th of 2023.
