Waterparks offer a heartfelt time capsule of their career with music video for “ANY MINUTE NOW”

Date:

As if they hadn’t already tugged on enough heart-strings when “ANY MINUTE NOW” first released last month, Waterparks delivers an emotional trip down memory lane in the single’s new music video.

The video acts as a time capsule for the Houston trio, featuring moments captured throughout the last decade of their career. The visuals flip between the past and present of Waterparks throughout its three minute duration. From black and white clips taken on The Prowler Tour to behind the scenes of their earliest days in screaming color, the “ANY MINUTE NOW” music video is a love letter to Waterparks and their fan community.

“ANY MINUTE NOW” is the third single of this new era for the band, following “RED GUITAR” and “IF LYRICS WERE CONFIDENTIAL.” The song navigates the uncertainty associated with adulthood and serves as a reminder that everyone’s in the same anxiety-fueled boat. Speaking on the track, Frontman Awsten Knight shares,

I think the idea is that even though you’re smarter than to assume anyone has all the answers, for some reason you, and everyone else continues looking for perfect resolution, validation, success, everything, waiting patiently saying “this will all make sense… any minute now.”

The video evoked emotional reactions from fans online, with many reminiscing on their memories with the band over the years and excitedly spotting themselves in some shots of the current tour’s crowds. With new music expected in 2026, the music video offers a beautifully reflective look at every corner of Waterparks’ journey, including what’s to come.

Waterparks is set to wrap up the North American leg of The Prowler Tour on December 18th in Los Angeles, CA. The band will then head overseas to kick off the UK/EU dates of the tour early next year. Tickets and information for all of Waterparks’ upcoming shows can be found here
