Tucker Wetmore shatters records with breakout debut album ‘What Not To’

Date:

Country music’s fastest-rising star, Tucker Wetmore, is making headlines and history with his debut album What Not To, released April 25, 2025. In a landmark moment for the genre, the album debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200, the highest charting country debut from a new artist this year.

Only a year into his professional career, What Not To has earned widespread critical acclaim, with Billboard calling it “poised to be a star-maker”. The 19-track record delivers a dynamic blend of radio-ready anthems and introspective ballads covering the hard-earned lessons of Wetmore’s 25 years. The album’s single “3,2,1” has quickly climbed country radio charts, entered the Billboard Hot 100, and topped adds at stations nationwide.

Following a high-energy debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and a crowd-roaring set at Stagecoach 2025, he will headline Nashville’s storied Ryman Auditorium for the first time on May 21 — a sold-out milestone show that caps a whirlwind breakout year.
