Queer British-Filipina artist Towa Bird shakes up Pride Month with the announcement of her North American tour, The Gentleman Tour, with special guest Mother Soki.
After the release of her world-renowned album, Gentleman, Towa’s popularity has steadily increased among young queer listeners across social media. An essential rock and alternative album, Bird’s work reclaims a space for the authentic artist, forging an identity with an unapologetic demeanor. Gentleman, produced by Patrick Wimberly (MGMT, Blood Orange), features iconic special guests: Bikini Kill‘s Kathleen Hanna (“All Gone”), and famous actress, Kate O’Brien (“Dog”).
This album follows after the critically acclaimed 2024 debut album, American Hero. Gentleman is a long stray away from the alt-pop composure of her debut album, achieving a thrilling new explosion of attitude and atmosphere. You can stream the album here to prepare for the upcoming tour.
