Tilly Kingston kicks it up a notch with “Youth is Wasted”

Date:

Pop-punk artist Tilly Kingston grew up surrounded by music, living just above a music venue in her hometown of Lichfield. Her older brother introduced her to his love for pop-punk in the early 2000’s, and her father brought her into the world of 60’s & 70’s music. After struggling to find herself through her adolescence and teenage years, Kingston made a leap of faith and decided to dive into discovering her own artistry. She began in 2023 with her debut single, “Best Break Up Ever,” and now in 2024, she’s just released her latest track, “Youth is Wasted”

In “Youth is Wasted,” Tilly Kingston is not afraid to tell it how it is. Between the outgoing lyrics, aggressive instrumentation, and punchy vocals, it’s no secret that this artist has a message that she wants to be heard loud and clear. This song opens with a classic punk guitar riff that leads into a track that’s sonically similar to artists like YUNGBLUD or even Avril Lavigne. “Youth is Wasted” is raunchy, confident, and a fun time overall. Tilly Kingston lets her personality shine in this song, and it’s radiant.
