The Mucks dive into indie-rock with “If I Believe”

Date:

The Mucks If I Believe

UK-based indie-rock band The Mucks capture a sound reminiscent to artists like Catfish & The Bottlemen, The Band CAMINO, and even Two Door Cinema Club. Their upbeat instrumentation and playful melodies helped them catch the attention of BBC & Radio X after the release of their debut single, “I Don’t.” They create music that’s meant to be played live & loud- which explains how they’ve been headlining sold-out shows after only having released two songs so far. It’s clear that they’re rapidly gaining the attention of the indie scene that they deserve.

Following their first couple of singles “I Don’t” and “Grace (Demo)” comes their latest release, “If I Believe”– a fun, catchy, instant classic in their discography. Michael Dunn singing lead vocals provides a gritty, passionate, powerful performance that guides the band along with every word. The chorus is sure to get stuck in your head, and you’ll be thankful for that. Drummer Stephen Beck’s buildup to the last chorus gets your adrenaline pumping, and the instrumental cut that comes right after is ethereal. Listen to this song on a summer night with a group of friends, or while you’re trying to blow out your car speakers. Both will work just fine for The Mucks & “If I Believe.”
