Alternative rock band The Haunt has unleashed their latest single, “I Don’t Like The Quiet”. Led by power sibling duo Anastasia Grace Haunt and Max Haunt, the group gears up to release their upcoming EP Do Not Resuscitate this year.

With blazing vocals and infectious guitar riffs, “I Don’t Like The Quiet” is a powerful rock track that tackles the complexities of love and its actual purpose. The sound is strong and unapologetic, seamlessly flowing from intense aggression to soulful introspection. Leaning heavily into rock and roll, The Haunt incorporates elements of pop, punk and a sprinkle of glam, creating a cinematic experience that brings the listener on a sonic rollercoaster.

“I Don’t Like The Quiet” elaborates on the themes of love and loneliness; it makes us wonder why are we seeking certain connections. As the band explains, “(it is) a song about not being sure if you’re in love, or if you just hate being alone”. The track forces the listener to confront itself, in that moment of realization that things may be more complicated than they seem. Within its defiance, there’s a deep sense of vulnerability, through the explosive release of rock and roll.
