The Brook & The Bluff have returned with a new single, “Super Bowl Sunday.” In a recent interview with Melodic Magazine, the band described the song as being about finding comfort in things that you’ve always done and being resistant to growth or change.

“‘Super Bowl Sunday’ is a song about falling back into a box that feels comfortable, resisting growth and staying stuck, mostly out of being plain old scared,” stated the band. “It is looking at your life at a crossroads and saying something insane like ‘I’d rather watch the game with the boys’ instead of making a real decision. It’s all of that avoidance, covered up with some rippin’ guitar.”

The song opens with a classic, rock and roll riff that maintains through the track. True to form, the bright, driving energy of the music contrasts sharply with the bittersweet ache of the lyrics; “Am I just waiting for the end times? / The world is burning, I’m just inside / Or do I wanna see the sunrise? / Paid off ’cause I can never sleep right.” The single is off of their upcoming album, Werewolf, which is out March 6th via Dualtone Records.

The Brook & The Bluff have also announced a nationwide headline tour supporting the new album, which will kick off in March 2026, and include stops at DC’s 9:30 Club, Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl, NYC’s Webster Hall, LA’s The Bellweather, and Denver’s Ogden Theatre among many others.
