Tate McRae has moved on in new single “It’s ok I’m ok”

Date:

While Tate McRae gained popularity on So You Think You Can Dance, she blended her dancing talents with a career in the music industry, creating memorable live performances for her fans. Her music has amassed millions of streams, causing her to be one of the most popular female artists over the past few years. Her latest release “It’s ok I’m ok” focuses on unstable relationships.

“It’s ok I’m ok” is about unreliable partners. Through techno rhythms and powerful vocals, Tate McRae expresses her relief to no longer date someone with drastic mood swings. Lyrics such as “And she be like, ‘He’s so perfect’ / I be like, ‘Oh, what version?'” show the differences in her ex-partner’s behavior that other people don’t see.
