Texas-born, Minnesota-based singer-songwriter Swan Mack moves listeners with a new indie track titled “Call the Doctor.”

Mack, whose music digs deep into the in-between moments in our lives, embodies the soulfulness of artists like Noah Kahan and Chelsea Cutler with dreamy and cinematically emotional production. Blending together indie-pop hooks with folk-inspired storytelling, her songs feel honest, raw, and confessional, like a warm blanket on a rainy autumn day.

In an Instagram post celebrating the release of the track, the artist says:

“‘Call the Doctor’ is out now!
At its core, this song is about trying to resuscitate love that one person has already let go of. It’s for when you’re fully aware that the effort is breaking you down, yet you can’t stop because the relationship feels like your identity. It’s the sound of someone trying to save what’s killing them.”

The production of the track feels like the beginning of a voyage through mountain valleys. The drum beat is led by whimsical vocals that fill the air with this adventurous sense. It makes you want to escape and drift off into the world of dreamers and endless possibilities, joining hands with previous singles “Unready” and “Nobody’s Best Friend.”
