SOZI just released her latest single “Call 9-1-1,” showcasing her talents to the fullest, as she performed, co-wrote, mixed, and mastered the song. Infused with an electrifying energy, the song blends pop, melodic drum, and bass elements to create this infectious vibe you cannot resist. You may recognize SOZI from her previous single, “Never Fade,” which was featured on the fifth season of Netflix’s popular reality show, “Love Is Blind.”

Drawing inspiration from artists like Florence and the Machine, Olivia Rodrigo, and OneRepublic, SOZI’s music resonates with a wide audience. In “Call 9-1-1,” she sings, “Please call 9-1-1 / I’m a mess / Want a break,” followed by “Send an SOS.”

Despite its upbeat production, the song carries a melancholic tone. She reflects on her pain with lyrics like “where’s the cure for feeling blue,” highlighting the enduring pain that even doctors and medicine cannot seem to cure. Her combination of soft smooth vocals and playful production sets her apart in the crowd of emerging female artists, making you want to hear what comes next.
