Following the release of their new EP swallowtail, shoegaze trailblazers she’s green announce they will embark on their debut headlining tour across North America this fall. Kicking off on September 9 in Iowa City, Iowa, the band will make their way across the U.S. and Canada with support from Witches Exist, smush, and Starling.
Tickets for the swallowtail tour go on sale this Friday, July 17 at 10:00 am local time.
News of their inaugural run across North America arrives after the release of their third EP, swallowtail, released July 10 on Photo Finish Records. Directly following last year’s Chrysalis EP, swallowtail serves as the second half of a full-length album. Through standout tracks like “locket,” “empty house,” and “mettle,” she’s green decorate classic shoegaze influences with a dark fantasy-like radiance, decorating somber compositions with a magnetic glimmer. It is this unforgettably atmospheric energy that the band brings to their work that makes them such a standout group within the modern shoegaze scene.
Ahead of their North American tour, she’s green will tour Europe and the U.K. this August and September, making their debut appearances at Reading & Leeds.
