S.C.A.B. releases new single, “Small Talk”

Date:

Meet S.C.A.B. – your next favorite band! The name is an acronym of the bandmates’ names, though it also represents protection and revival. The Brooklyn-based rockers recently released “Small Talk” from their upcoming sophomore album; the track is preceded by the project’s lead singles, “Tuesday,” and “Why Do I Dream Of You.” S.C.A.B.’s sound is a safe haven – a haze of distorted riffs and glimmering vocals, inspired by the city that never sleeps.

About “Small Talk,” frontman Sean Camargo says, “(It) deals with grief and learning to support a friend going through a tough time. My father passed away of cancer a few years ago and my bandmate Alec recently lost a parent as well. The song touches on our bonding through such a difficult shared experience, wanting to connect and being there to support each other but not knowing how, often resorting to familiar, insignificant topics from fear of getting ‘too real’.”
