Australian pop duo Royel Otis has announced their sophomore album, hickey, alongside a world tour starting this summer.
Presave hickey here.
Royel Otis’ upcoming album will be available to stream on all platforms on Aug. 22.
Receiving accolades from V MAN, describing them as “an intangible sonic it-factor that many bands these days are hoping to replicate” to radio DJ host Zane Lowe praising “this duo from Australia, nuts, just NUTS…”, Royel Otis brings a nostalgic and modern sound in bringing their blended fanbase together.

‘hickey’ is Royel Otis’ second album since the release of their first leading single ‘moody’ back in May. Guitarist Royel Maddell expressed gratitude toward supporters in a statement from the band’s Instagram page — captured in pastel pink with lowercase black lettering titled “letters from roy.”
“Thank you endlessly for your support. I hope you are surrounded by people who make you feel special – Love Roy xo.” Maddell’s heartfelt message to fans echoes through the overdrive of guitar pedals, establishing a chill and groovy tune that captures the essence of “moody,” a contrasting song that dichotomizes what it means to be in a toxic relationship.
In support of their record, Royel Otis will be on the road this year with indie-rock bands bby and DANCER. The tour will make 24 stops across North America, with a few sold-out shows in Toronto, Canada, Austin, Texas and New York.
Tickets are available to purchase here.
