Pentatonix releases new single “Bah Humbug” and announces new Christmas album ‘Christmas in the City’

Date:

Pentatonix is already in the holiday spirit after the release of their newest song “Bah Humbug,” which was followed by the announcement of their new Christmas album Christmas in the City. The album is available for pre-save.

“Bah Humbug” is the first single that the a capella quintet has released from their upcoming Christmas album, set to be released on Oct. 24th. Mitch Grassi, the groups tenor, shared some thoughts about the group’s new single:

“This song tells the story of A Christmas Carol in a really fun, theatrical way. What I love about this arrangement is that we are all featured individually, and get our moments to let our “characters” really shine. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a song tell this particular story in such a succinct, creative way!”

The group brings a festive feel to the harmonies that they are known for creating on their new 16-track album. Pentatonix helps to bring the joy and wonder of celebrating the holiday spirit in New York to life with this new album.

Pentatonix will also be bringing the holiday spirit to a city near you this winter, as they are ready to embark on their Christmas in the City Tour. The tour will hit places like New York and Illinois, along with two hometown shows in Fort Worth, Texas, at Dickies Arena to end the tour. Tickets are available here.
