Olivia O’Brien Releases Pop-Rock Romp “i should’ve f*cked your brother”

Pop-rock veteran Olivia O’Brien has recently become an independent artist following a speedrun of viral hits over the past half-decade. Today, she’s released the brilliantly-titled “i should’ve fucked your brother” which is exactly about what the title suggests — over an early 2000s pop-punk instrumental, O’Brien sings about what seems to be the shittiest guy on the planet, with a littany of one-liners that are sure to stick in your head for the next time you think about your ex (“You didn’t text me after the earthquake”… / “I know you’re the same height / But he’s got a couple inches on you”).

It’s a goofy, vengeful, and fun breakup song that brings to mind the best of Avril Lavigne while still maintaining O’Brien’s remarkable grip on pop songwriting, and a hell of a way to usher in a new era of music. Watch the entertaining music video below:
