After his highly acclaimed album and the successful We’ll All Be Here Forever Tour, Vermont native Noah Kahan has announced the release of a live album, Live From Fenway Park, on Aug. 30 through Mercury Records and Republic Records. The Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum singer shared the news on social media, teasing fans with the question, “There’s no way [he] would release something else Stick Season-related…is there?”
Kahan previously recorded back-to-back sold-out shows at Boston, Massachusetts, iconic Fenway Park, with the live album featuring live performances from the Platinum album Stick Season (2023) and other iconic songs from his discography. It also includes “Pain Is Cold Water,” an unreleased song from the album that has become a fan favorite on tour.
This past week, Kahan performed the first of his two sold-out shows at London, UK’s The O2, with the tour concluding next week. With various special guests like Hozier, Shawn Mendes and Reneé Rapp, Kahan also collaborated on Kelsea Ballerini’s single “Cowboys Cry Too” off her new album Patterns and James Bay’s single “Up All Night” with The Lumineers off his upcoming record Changes All The Time.
In a press statement, Kahan spoke about the live record:
“Every day I think about playing Fenway. I can’t even look at photos without crying. It is a permanent part of my soul, and I’m so proud to announce it will be a permanent part of my discography. New England, I love you.”
