At a young age, singer and songwriter Liam Horne moved from Scotland to Los Angeles to pursue music. While adjusting to the move and all that comes with navigating a new culture and country, Horne was able to find success. He broke out when he co-wrote Justin Bieber’s “Out of Town Girl” from Bieber’s 2012 album, Believe, and then continued to build a following through original singles like “Tragedy,” “The Truth Is,” and various YouTube covers. His work is rooted in connection, belonging, love, and honesty, and he has tapped into a sound that falls between timeless soul and contemporary pop.
After years of building a reputation as a songwriter, Horne is now entering the spotlight with his own project. As he does so, he is backed by elite collaborators like Grammy award-winning producers Brian Kennedy (Rihanna, Doechii) and James Fauntleroy (Beyoncé, Bruno Mars) and longtime industry partner and producer UHLONE. This project was first introduced earlier this year with the release of “Paradise,” which reached #1 on the Digital Radio Tracker Global Top 100 chart and #15 on the Mediabase Adult Contemporary chart.
To honor the rush of creating under his own name, Horne gives us “Everywhere.” His timeless-meets-contemporary sound comes through in the modern pop beats and live instrumentation, further cementing his cool style. He also brings a fun energy and swagger to the track, especially in lines like, “Right here or there / Girl, I just wanna do it everywhere.” You can check it out below.
Giving us more details about “Everywhere,” Horne shares,
“The song started from this image of being so connected to someone that it doesn’t matter where you are—a street, a room, a crowd. The world disappears and it becomes your own rhythm.”
