Rising LA-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Keni Titus has announced her highly anticipated debut album AngelPink, set for release in February 2026. As a peek into what’s to come, she’s also released her new single “off day.”
The single is full of soft folk production paired with deep, dark lyrics that capture the themes of feminine duality running through Keni’s upcoming album. Her vocals are warm and captivating, and the acoustic guitar balances everything perfectly. She sings, “I’ll get clean, maybe fill the swimming pool up with straight chlorine.”
Speaking on the track, Keni shared:
“‘off day’ is about those stretches of time where nothing is technically wrong, but nothing feels right either. You kind of drift through the week tired, wearing the same clothes for days, forgetting to eat, not showering, avoiding your own reflection… When I wrote this song, I wanted to lean into the drama and irony, which became my way of laughing at the mess and lightening the load. Sometimes that’s the only way to get through it.”
Alongside “off day,” Keni previously released another glimpse into AngelPink with the single “man like you.” Both tracks explore understanding who you once were versus who you’re becoming, and she paints those emotions beautifully through moments of honesty and vulnerability.
Speaking on the upcoming album, she explained:
“AngelPink is about losing yourself, then coming home – not to a person, but to yourself. I went through a breakup and a friend falling-out during this record. I felt really alone. Making this project reminded me that there are good, kind people who love me. And that making art is supposed to be fun. Not perfect – but fun. This album was a way of remembering who I am, and learning how to hold her gently.”
Keni Titus has been noted as an artist to watch, gaining recognition after supporting beabadoobee on the North American leg of her This Is How Tomorrow Moves tour.
