Dylan Dunlap finds heaven in new single “I Dare You”

Date:

Brooklyn-based indie artist Dylan Dunlap released his newest single “I Dare You,” on February 3. Written and produced by Dunlap himself, this is the third song released from his upcoming album.

The single is pure indie pop, with soft acoustics alongside Dunlap’s gentle voice singing about the heaven in his woman’s eyes and depictions of her watercolor tattoos, creating an image of this person who means so much to him.

While the lyrics are simple, they hold power. Throughout the song, Dunlap challenges the listener to see the person he loves in the same way that he does, and experience that kind of love for another person. But most of all, he dares others to see that love within themselves and the world around them.

The uplifting vibe of the song is perfect for a slow morning or a long walk, like the walk Dunlap takes in the accompanying music video, shot and edited by Garrett Weinholtz.
