Bring Me The Horizon’s newest single “Dehumanized” celebrates 20th anniversary in the industry ahead of re-recorded album

Date:

Bring Me The Horizon gears up to celebrate their forthcoming 20th anniversary since their initial debut into the music scene. The band announces the release of their newest single, “Dehumanized,” an original track created for the re-recording of the group’s debut album dubbed, Count Your Blessings | Repented.

In addition to revamping classic songs with a deeper edge and grit today compared to its original release in 2006, “Dehumanized” is said to serve as a bridge between both the past and the present.

This track blends together the original, spirited chaos and ferocity of the original Count Your Blessings era, whilst mixing in the evolutionary sound of the Bring Me The Horizon we all know and love in today’s era of their career. As Oli Sykes stated in a press release:

“wE CAN’T HAVE THIS RECORD SOUNDING LIKE WHAT BANDS SOUND LIKE TODAY. IT NEEDS TO BE THE BEST VERSION OF WHAT IT SOUNDED LIKE IN 2006.”

Fans will surely love the fact that the track, “Liquor & Love Lost,” will be reappearing under its original creative working title, “Dragon Slaying.”

For the celebration of the album, the band will be performing the full album for the very first time at “Outbreak Presents: Count Your Blessings | Repented” on July 10th and 11th at Manchester’s B.E.C Arena. For the U.S. fans, the band will be bringing the flare to Furnace Festival at Sloss Furnaces, in Birmingham, Alabama on October 11th.
