At only 25, the Swedish singer-songwriter has already released an EP of her own remixed songs and four new singles since the beginning of 2022. As Namelle has progressed in her music career, it’s obvious she has been experimenting with new sounds and ideas. The updated EP and most recent single, “Goodbye Boy” show her strong interest in more electric sounds.
The new song instantly entices the listener with a unique but catchy beat that immediately puts her electro style on display. Although it has this alternative sound compared to other pop songs you might hear, the lyrics are something that can be related to universally. Namelle makes sure to show that she’s the one in charge of the relationship by saying, “And if we’re meant for each other / someday I might change my mind / but for now / goodbye boy”.
