Following the release of their brand new single “Afraid Of The Dark,” Motionless In White has just announced their first American headlining tour in nearly 3 years. The Sweat and Blood Tour will hit the road this summer, featuring support from iconic bands Lorna Shore, Fit For A King, and Static Dress.
The run kicks off on July 14 in Bridgeport, CT, making stops in Charlotte, Houston, Austin, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, and more before wrapping up on August 15 in Sterling Heights, MI. The Sweat and Blood Tour also makes a stop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, which will be the band’s first time headlining the venue.
Motionless In White are no strangers to success, earning three straight Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart, including a #1 debut for their 2022 album, Scoring The End of the World, which also marked their highest placement on the Billboard 200 at #12. Along with the album’s massive success, the band also scored their second RIAA Gold-certified hit and first Active Rock #1 with the single “Masterpiece,” which continues to leap toward Platinum status.
In addition to their chart achievements, Motionless In White have toured as direct support for some of hardcore music’s biggest names, including Bring Me The Horizon and Slipknot, while also selling out multiple headline tours. Now more than 20 years into their career, the band continues to prove that they are as dynamic as ever with the release of their new single, “Afraid of the Dark.” The next renaissance of Motionless In White starts now.
“By the time this tour begins, it will have been just under three years since our last U.S. headliner, and we are absolutely shooting for the moon to celebrate our return,” the band shares.
“We could not be more excited to visit our American fans who have been incredibly patient with us, and can’t wait to give them the first performances of new material from our upcoming album. See you this summer!”
Tickets for the Sweat and Blood Tour went on sale via artist and Citi pre-sales starting Tuesday, February 3. Additional pre-sales ran throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale that begins today, February 6, at 10 a.m. local time here.
