Miley Cyrus is finally being given her flowers—winning her first GRAMMY, being honored as a Disney Legend, and becoming the first solo artist born in the 1990’s to be given a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Cyrus seems to have manifested the legacy she’s built with the release of “Walk of Fame,” a track off of her ninth studio album Something Beautiful. In her film, Something Beautiful, Cyrus is seen dancing on her star on the Walk of Fame, a symbolic visual at the time. The lines have been blurred between art and destiny as this was filmed before the press conference announcing that she will be receiving a star.
Last month Cyrus performed a quick set in Paris at Spotify’s Billions Club Live. Top listeners in the area were invited to see an exclusive performance of “Flowers,” the fastest song ever to reach a billion streams on Spotify, “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart,” “Wrecking Ball,” “Angels Like You,” “The Climb,” “We Can’t Stop,’ and a few songs off her newest record. For those who weren’t in attendance, don’t fret because Spotify has announced Billions Club Live with Miley Cyrus: A Concert Film will premier later this summer.
