Melodic Music Monday: November 17

Date:

Every Monday, we bring you a playlist filled with new tracks the Melodic staff has been listening to on repeat. Hear some of our latest obsessions below:

——

Two Feet, “Makeup in the Mirror” – Two Feet’s Drunken Fits of a Modern Age arrives today, coinciding with the announcement of the Next Steps Tour. This era is extra special because it’s his first release since getting sober. Two Feet is now nine months sober after a long battle with drug and alcohol addiction. Despite multiple hospitalizations, he continued to perform and release music, keeping his struggles private from the public. The LP is a testament to his strength, showcasing survival and self-discovery through honesty and transformation.

– Reagan Denning

——

NF, “FEAR” – The music video for “FEAR” dropped right at midnight. While fans are still dissecting every frame, the early consensus is that “FEAR” serves as a direct narrative sequel to “HOPE” taking place during the cut scene in the music video before a battle with himself atop the mountains.

– Victoria Goodwin

——

Haiden Henderson, “chemicals” – Fans who attended Hendersons sold out tour this past August and September got to hear “chemicals” earlier than the rest. The live debut of the song showed that he can barely hold back feelings due to desire when he sings the chorus, The more that you give, the more that I want.

– Allyson Franzo

——

Kehlani, “Out The Window” – For her biggest fans, this release is even more exciting. The song’s been floating around through snippets on social media and early performances at her live shows, where fans were already singing it back to her before it had even dropped.

– Megan Parkinson
