Maximiliano Strikes his Rhythm in “Four on the Floor”

Date:

Maximiliano released his latest single “Four on the Floor” last week. This track follows his success in his previous release, “Bullion Man”, and is his second release of 2024.

According to Maximiliano, the song’s premise is:

“Friday night dance party has started. They’re walking over towards you and you know what they are going to ask. “wanna dance”? You nervously say yes, but you got one problem… You don’t know how to dance.”

The song perfectly takes the listener through the story Maximiliano describes. Early on he sings, “She just asked me to dance / I don’t know how to dance”. Later in the song, his feelings change, as he sings “Everybody gonna laugh at you / No matter what dance you do / Just close your eyes / And take ‘em for a ride”. Overall, he wants his listeners to know that it is not your dancing skills that matter – just the energy you put in.

With an overall sound reminiscent of a Cage the Elephant song, Maximiliano nails the production of this song. He uses dancey drum beats and guitar riffs that make the melody all the more enticing, ensuring the song is nothing short of exceptional.
