Lily Moore releases “Grown Up Girl Regrets” off her upcoming EP

Date:

British singer-songwriter Lily Moore has released “Grown Up Girl Regrets,” the title track of her upcoming EP, coming out on April 1. In the new song, Moore’s signature, powerhouse vocals fill the track with soul, as she longs for the carefree nature of her youth.
Accompanied by the guitar and bass, she opens the record singing over a dramatic, descending chord progression, “Tell me how / Am I supposed to be / Friends with someone else / When I’m not even friends with myself.”
About the meaning behind the track, Moore says:
“‘Grown Up Girl Regrets’ is all about wanting more from life. More joy, more experience, more adventure. It’s about the feeling of having one foot in the door of adulthood and stability – and the other desperate to go out and make mistakes and have fun and do and see as much of the world as possible. It’s a reminder for me and to all my mates – even when things feel serious, to make me just go and have some fun.”
Moore is building on the momentum of her recent and upcoming releases with several live performances, including a headlining tour.
