Kenzie Elizabeth recognizes her own value in new single, “Over It”

Date:

Kenzie Elizabeth—a New York-based singer-songwriter—explores the electro-pop world and celebrates clarity and confidence in new single, “Over It.”

In 2013, Kenzie began creating music under the name KZ Liz, using her songwriting talent to build her discography of singles and two albums. However, Kenzie decided to separate from that project to pursue Kenzie Elizabeth in October 2023, leading her to this point. Continuing to let her creative juices flow, she released her sophomore album, A Train of Thought, in August 2024 and is planning on releasing more singles and a full-length project at the end of this year.

“Over It” is no stranger to the pop world. The fun, electronic elements make this song an upbeat pop anthem that can give anyone the confidence to get over anything. The toned-down vocals and bright production work in accordance with each other, making the song sonically satisfying. Alongside this single, Kenzie shot a music video of her living her best life—dancing in the streets while wearing headphones to block out the noise of discouraging thoughts and inviting in empowering, motivational energy. This song can work in a variety of settings, whether you’re at a club or taking a reflective, confidence-boosting walk, giving you an instant mood-booster.
