Katy Perry reveals September release date for new album ‘143’

Date:

Following the launch of her brand new era of music, global pop sensation Katy Perry has revealed that her forthcoming studio album, which is titled 143, will be released on Sept. 20 through Capitol Records.

Just last month, Perry announced that her lead single off the album, “Woman’s World,” will be released this Friday, July 12. The single, written by Perry and Chloe Angelides and produced by Dr. Luke, Vaughn Oliver, Aaron Joseph, and Rocco Did It Again!, is a celebration of womanhood in all its forms.

In a recent statement, Perry elaborated on the forthcoming album and what 143 means to her:

“I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,” Perry said.

Preorder 143: the album now.

You can also purchase signed vinyl, limited edition pink vinyl, CD single, 7-inch orange vinyl, cassettes and more.
